The game is set in an alternate earth, modern day 2012, with dates and events (generally) corresponding to real time. The US election is on the horizon, the global economy is floundering, Gaia is beginning to succumb to global warming, and faith is found in unexpected places.
The characters are the figures of Greek legend, thousands of years old. Gods, Titans, and those simply immortalized by myth; they survive on the whispers of their name and the conviction of human belief. Some live ordinary lives; by choice, as a disguise, or because their memory has faded with age. Others use their powers and gifts to rise to the height of power and feed on the worship it gains them. And then there are those who remember the prophecy of the coming end, when they shall finally be free of their shackles to the mortal realm, and seek to save or doom the human race.
Claim a Character! Pretty obvious, right? If you'd like to play, the Claims Page is here. Knowing the mod isn't a requirement, but an invite from at least one person already in the game kind of is.
Plot Stuff! The CR Meme is right over here, and it's open pretty much 24/7.
Put stuff in your character journal! It will be super advantageous to have an IC contact post for this game. Throwing up an info page where you can expand on your bio is cool too; just drop a link to it on the claims page and it'll go straight onto the taken list. Optional is an OOC contact or HMD post, Visualosities, CR charts and the like. You can track all the game journals here.
Figure Out A Clue! There will be IC benefits to figuring out clues OOC as the game rolls on, though participating in the plot is by no means mandatory. Hints and clues are almost always handed over through this journal, though Seers, NPCs and unwitting others may pass on a couple. As for what shape clues take? They may be riddles, puzzles, or treasure hunts through the internet.
Get involved! If you want to involve yourself in the plot (especially if you play a Seer or a Titan) or if you solve a clue, or simply if your character is doing their own, unrelated plot (like a ball or seminar or killing spree) that you want a post for, just contact the mod.
